[Closed] Ovewrite with English content not working

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Translate one page but first ovewritting all the fileds with the english version to then translate it into spanish.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

yeah I tried it, but the issue is not me not knowing where to click, the problem is that when I used to click Copy from English, it would reload and add all the text on the fields in english (its original source), then my translator would translate it using that same content. Now when I click Copy from English or Overwrite with English its not loading anything at all. Basically those 2 buttons don't work at all.

Thank you for the clarification!

Please update WPML and it's add-ons to their latest versions and let me know if the issue persists. This should be resolved in the latest versions.

Go to Plugins->Add new->Commercial tab-> update from there

OR download the plugins from https://wpml.org/downloads/

Thank you for the screencast, one thing that I did notice is that when you clicked on "duplicate" there was an "undefined" error.

I believe I have worked on a similar issue in the past, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you for the access details!

I can see that the duplicate button is not working as expected, but it seems like it is working OK after some time.

Can you please confirm this with me before we proceed debugging why this is not working instantly.

I test with this CPT -->

Casper car accident.

1. Edit one without a translation already
2. Check the box for duplicate and run it --> click it once.
3. Wait a few minutes (2-4 )
4. You will notice that now it shows as duplicated, switch over to the translation and review
