I made a staging copy of my website from hidden link to hidden link (On Siteground)

On the staging copy, many translated pages have a problem and show an error: "Failed to connect to MySQL: Access denied for user 'u2ctqefrtwbe3'@'%' to database 'dbgq43zl4wgriw'". I checked on my site admin panel, and this user has full access to the db. (See attached screenshots).

Example of pages: (The error occurs on both frontend and backend when you try to edit them)
1) hidden link
2) hidden link

Please help,
Thanks,
Erez

Hello,

In order to properly debug this I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your staging site. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

Please, let me know if you need any additional details. Have a nice day.

Hey there,

Thank you for sharing those credentials.

I checked it and it seems like even with WPML disabled if any of the pages(even in other languages) has the following short code the error you reported appears when you try to edit them:

[ccj id="lang"]

I'd like to ask you if it's possible to recreate the staging version, it is possible that something went wrong the first time you tried to creating it.

If the error persists, please ask the host provider to share with you the HTTP error logs of today September 19th so I can create a ticket with our 2nd tier support for them to debug this issue further. The debug mode is not generating any errors so the HTTP errors logs might give us a better idea of what's causing this issue with that short code.

Thank you,

Please let us know.

Thank you for giving me direction. It was indeed a problem with that shortcode.
I fixed it now.
