I ran a search and replace on the english version of my site for: hidden link to hidden link but its not reflecting on the live site. I use the better search and replace plugin.

You've mentioned you're changing that URL on the English version of the site. That seems to be the main language based on the debug info you shared.
Given this scenario, I don't believe WPML would be causing any issues to this procedure, since it's a simple update in the DB for the main language.
After running it, did you check if that got replaced in the database directly, by using PHPMyAdmin, Adminer or similar tool?
I'm afraid this might be an issue with the plugin running on your site or with the database itself if the replacement is not taking place.
If you're still facing issues and you believe that WPML might have caused it, could you please elaborate a little more on this issue and why you believe WPML is connected, so I can better understand?
