Hi Kor, Unfortunately, this did not resolve my issue as there is no Jobs in Translation Management. I only have Dashboard, Translator and Tool and a translation I can only pause but not delete. Thank you for your help. |

Thanks for your reply. I've checked your Website and I can see that the homepage is not translatable and I've tried adding some custom XML configuration but it did not work. Looks like some Ohio Theme VC modules are causing some issues. I regret any inconvenience caused, but to proceed with troubleshooting, I kindly ask for a snapshot of the site. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded. To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions: 1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link 2. Consult WPML's instructions on providing supporters with a copy of your site: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/ 3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files. Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large. Thanks for your patience. We've checked and it seems to work fine when I removed the "Accordion" from the page as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you check with your theme author and see if they have any information about the incompatibility with WPML? Also, I'd recommend that they join our 'Go Global' program (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/) where our Compatibility developers will help them make their product 100% compatible with WPML for free. |

Dear Kor Thank you for your assistance and support. I just had a look at the Website and it is still not translated to German or French so apparently the automatic translation is still not working. I checked with the Ohio theme and it said that Ohio Theme is fully compatible with the WPML plugin but we need to buy the plugin license separately. Honestly, I am a bit lost because I thought we have the license and I don't know why the automatic translation is not working. However, on the website we got a message that the Duplicator Pro license is missing (see picture). Could this have anything to do with the error in the translation? What could be next steps to make it work? Best, |

Thank you for your response. I apologize for any confusion. Let me clarify: I've created a duplicate of the homepage at this link: hidden link and set it to "Private" so it won't be visible to your visitors. I translated it into French, and it works as shown in the attached screenshot. The pencil icon indicates that the page is fully translated into that language. However, to successfully translate the French page, I need to remove the "Accordion" module from the page builder as shown in the attached screenshot, as it is causing translation issues. This is why I'm asking you to consult with your theme author. Additionally, this theme is not compatible with WPML, as it does not appear on this list: https://wpml.org/theme/ . You can search for the theme name using the search form. If it's listed, it means it has been tested and is fully compatible with WPML. You can disregard the Duplicator Pro message, as it is unrelated to the translations. |
