Ok, I think the table seems to have re-created but all the products / pages don't look like linked -> they look like independent products... Attaching the photo -> 1 product and 2 translations show as 3 products. |

Is there any easy way to re-connect all translations with the original pages / products? |

Hello There, I understood that the translated product and pages are appearing individually on the list. This type of issue only happens if the reference of the post in the default language got removed somehow from the translated post. Now, in order to link the translated post with the post in the default language, you need to open the Translated posts and "Manually connect" them with the original post. Please check the documentation below to understand the overall procedure of connecting translated post with the original post. - https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/ Please follow the steps mentioned there accordingly and hope it will help to fix the issue. Let me know how it goes. Best Regards, |

Hi, This is very long process to basically fix every single page and every single product. Can you advice how this could have happen? Would de-activating the WPML plugins cause this? I don't want to hit that issue ever again. |

Hi There, I totally can understand the trouble but currently, connecting the translation manually is the only way to make it work. If you deactivate the WPML plugin and reactivate it later, then you would not face any issues. Rest assured that just Deactivating will not cause such issues. In your case, the translation ID for the default and translated post seems to be deleted from the database, which most of the time happens due to resetting WPML. Please check the link below to understand what reset operation can do on the site. - https://wpml.org/faq/how-wpml-reset-works/ At this time, please manually connect the translation to the default page and be sure to take a backup of the site so that you can easily recover everything. I hope you can understand. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Best Regards, |
