I had opted for on-demand translation for my entire site. I translated everything automatically, and since then I haven't added any new content. The translation is already done, and even if I delete it and add it again, I shouldn't be charged extra.

However, I was charged an additional 100 euros. I don't understand. As you can see in this screenshot, it's clearly marked.

I also notice that the translation of the Wplm recipe card is counted twice in the post and on the recipe card.
thanks

Hi Tamimir,

Here is the new ticket. Can you please share some screenshots of the issue "counted twice" and share the URLs of the post and recipe card?

In order to use the translation memory to prevent charging for a segment twice, you need to have the same segment, everything: characters, commas, space ... Please read more in the documentation https://wpml.org/faq/why-arent-my-translations-showing/#why-does-my-translation-disappear-from-the-advanced-translation-editor-when-i-update-my-default-content

I also need more information on your site by sharing the debug info. If you don’t know how to share the debug info, please follow this article
https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
Your next reply is enabled to share the debug info.

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hello
I explain to you how my article is made: there are the ingredients and the steps then the wprm recipe sheet which copies everything. When I do automatic translation it counts everything. Then there is apart from the translation of the recipe card while everything it contains is already translated in the article. A lady had already made this remark on the forum.

You can see my screenshots (I was only able to make a small screenshot otherwise the text is longer.) There are 2 large identical tiles in the article and this tile is also in the recipe card. So why was I charged for it?

I can't give you the url because the translated version is still hidden.
If you want to see the sample article I'm talking about, I can give you access as a translator.
thanks

Hi,

I understand that issue. So you have the same segment but in a different context, and they are available in Advanced Translation Editor in both places.

Please read more about how translation memory works in the previous ticket that I shared with you https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/#calculating-costs-with-automatic-translation-and-translate-everything-automatically

To keep automatic translation processing times short, translation jobs submitted in the same batch are automatically translated at the same time. This means that if two pages include identical segments and are submitted to automatic translation in the same batch, it is not possible to form a translation memory entry from one page and apply it to the other. Instead, both segments will be automatically translated, and you will be charged for both.

That means you will be charged for all segments available in Advanced Translation Editor on a page or the same batch. But you will not be charged for the same segments on another page or another batch.

A batch is to translate a page or some pages that are sent to automatic translation with Translate What You Choose mode. Please read more here https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatically-translating-multiple-translation-jobs-in-bulk/

I hope that makes sense.

Hello ,
Thank you for these explanations but I still can't understand why when I translated everything automatically, it told me that I had to pay 300 dollars and then it went up to 400. You can, please please check that there is no error.

Thank you.

Hi,

I don't see any errors in our server with the translations on your site. WPML attempts to scan the content on your site and send them to automatic translation as many as possible so you can see the used credits increased in a short time.
You can also create a usage report by going to WPML > Translation Management > Tools tab > Automatic translation usage reports > Create a report, and see how many words are translated then calculate with the tool below to know how many credits are used (approximately).
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#how-automatic-translation-works

If you see the main issue of this ticket with content "counted twice" resolved, please mark this ticket as Resolved and create new ones if you have more questions.

I hope I was helpful. Don't hesitate to ask if you find any problem along the way, I'll gladly help you.
