Hi there,

Thank you for resolving my previous issue. However, I encountered another problem with the footer. The phone number was not detected by the Advanced Translation Editor; only the link was recognized, but not the digits themselves.

Additionally, when I input numbers, they appear in Arabic instead of Hindi, the desired language. To work around this, I have been sending myself a WhatsApp message in Arabic with Hindi digits and then copying and pasting it into the Advanced Translation Editor. However, this is not a sustainable solution. Is there a more effective approach to addressing this issue?

You can find the Footer under WP Dashboard > Templates > Saved Templates > Filter (all) > Footer.

Hi there,

To show the numbers in Advanced Translation Editor you need to search for it at the top left search box.

For more information:

https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/

I searched for it and added Arabic numbers. (check the screenshot)

Please change it according to your needs.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Thank you for your help. How did you write in Hindi numerals?

Hi there,

If you have the Arabic language added to your machine, when you switch the language you will have those numbers when you type them.

I have Persian language on my device and it has the same number methods.

Alternatively you can copy/paste the numbers here:

٠ ١ ٢ ٣ ٤ ٥ ٦ ٧ ٨ ٩

Thanks.

Hi there,

Thank you again for your reply. I have the Arabic language on my machine with Hindi numbers. If I type in Word, Notepad, or even the calculator on my Windows machine, they all type in Hindi numbers. Even when I type numbers in any of these apps and then paste them in the WPML Advanced translation, it changes to Arabic numerals.

I recorded the above in a video: hidden link
