Hi,

For language switcher customization, you have a variety of optional settings at your disposal located under WPML -> Languages.
These settings do not control the icon of the language switcher itself, so if you want to customize that you will need some custom code/css.

Here is a detailed explanation on how to configure the language switcher to your liking:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/

If these settings are not enough for you, we also have a short tutorial on how to create custom language switchers here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/custom-language-switcher/

As for the custom code, if you decide you need it, that is outside of our support policy. We do however offer a convenient way of hiring contractors for whatever job you need. You can find out how to do that here:
https://wpml.org/contractors/

If you need any further help or explanation, please don't hesitate to ask.
