[Closed] Translation takes me to translations queue instead of actual translation

Hi,

I want to translate a product in German but clicking the gear icon takes me to the translation queue instead of the actual product translation screen like when translating to English.

How can I get the same way of translating to German?

Hi Jaap,

While waiting for one of my colleagues to help you, please review the following:

When you are redirected to the translations queue, are you able to locate the translation and click on "Take and Translate" ?

This is most likely happening because the translation is in progress (notice the 'gear icon')

If you go to any other product that does not have a translation in progress for German, are you able to click on "+" and go directly to the editor

Hi Bobby,

I am able to take and translate but it takes me to a different translation screen (outside the webshop). I just want to translate it like the EN translation.

A new translation with '+' also takes me to the translation queue. Is it possible to disable the translation queue?

Do you mean the Advanced Translation Editor? Please read more in the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/

If you want to use the WPML Classic Translation Editor, please go to WPML > Settings > Translation Editor section > Editor for new translations: Classic Translation Editor. Then let me know if you are still redirected to the translation queue.
