When I translate the Woodmart pages, template and etc with Translation Management, I found 5 templates are pending so long. Then I edit the template and to stop the translation.

Now they are changed to "needs update" status.

I have the following questions.
1. Why they are pending so long ?
2. How could I remove them from "Need update" status ?
3. Could I retranslate them again ?

Thank you for reaching out. On the Translation Management section, you'll see content that needs to be translated, as well as other types of content, depending on how of your website is translated. Here are the answers to your queries:

1. Long Pending Time: When original content is updated, WPML automatically marks the translations as "Needs update". That might be why you had the content with that status there.

2. Removing "Needs Update" Status: When original content is updated, WPML automatically marks the translations as "Needs update". To clear this status, you'll need to retranslate the updated templates. This can be done manually or through WPML's Translation Management.

3. Retranslating Templates: Yes, you can retranslate the templates. After updating the originals, navigate to the WPML Translation Management Dashboard and select the templates for retranslation.

Hi,

I have checked the translation status and found one of page is still in progress but I found it was completed(see the attached file).

I do not know it is still in progress.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing. It seems to me that WPML is behaving as expected. When a content is automatically translated by WPML, the translation will be set to completed once you click on the “Complete” button on the translation editor. Clicking it should update the status.

I have pressed the completed button but the status is still in progress. Hence, I sent this email to you for your assistance.

The text translation is completed. It seems it is busy to translate the page layout created by elementor Pro.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
