we've a layout issue with our website hidden link When you consult the Dutch footer, you see the only in Dutch. But, when you consult the English footer, you see the 3rd column in Dutch and in English. What could we do in order to make that Dutch text invisible at the 3rd column?

1) To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so that I can get a look at some of your configurations. You can find it in WPML > Support > click on “Debug information” link. Please check this link for more info: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2) Please make sure that you have a full database and website backup then go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page, and click the following:

- Clear the Cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML table collation
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations

3) If that didn't help, kindly check if the issue persists in a minimal environment by following these steps:

- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML.
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue.

I tried option 2 and 3, and it doesn't make any difference.

Please, could you tell us what we could in order to fix this problem?

Hi,

1) Please increase the WordPress Memory Limit. According to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. Minimum requirements for WPML is 128Mb. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

2) I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) so I can investigate this issue further (The credentials you provided in chat are not working anymore).
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –

Dear Mohamed,

Thank you very much for your reply. We augmented the WP memory to 128 Mb.

And, with the help from the Astra Pro team, we were able to create different footers in different languages.

So, the problem has been solved for now.
