This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client noticed a discrepancy in the number of credits used for automatic translation from Hebrew to English, with the system using 64,216 credits which seemed too high compared to the actual word count.
Solution:
If you're experiencing a similar issue, it's important to understand that each word may consume a different number of credits depending on the Automatic Translation Engine used. For the PTC engine, each word uses 4 credits. For detailed information on translation pricing, please visit Automatic Translation Pricing.
To view an invoice of the credits used, you can follow the steps outlined here: Automatic Translation Invoices.

I just triggered automatic pay as you go translation for this site and it used 64,216 credits to translate hebrew to english. If one word is one credit, i cannot see how it can get to 64000 words. I downloaded a report and it says for example that the 'number' (which I assume means words/credits) on this page is 8828 whereas I calculate it to be no more than 3000 words. hidden link

Hello and welcome to WPML support. To make sure we are on the same page each word may have a different number of credits depending on which Automatic Translation Engine you use.

For PTC each word spends 4 credits. For more information:

You can get an invoice of the credits used following the steps below:

Thanks.
