[Resolved] Can I manually add arbitrary strings to the string translation table?

I read this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/, and I understand it. I want to translate text in my custom SQL queries. But this text is not part of any page, so it does not appear in the list of strings to translate.
