Hello there!
We are using WPML on our website and one of my colleagues noticed that some post translations got dissappeared, from frontend and dashboard.
E.g: hidden link this was translated in spanish (within advanced translation editor), but now it doesn't exist anymore.
Now, i found in your forums this link: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/lost-the-translation-of-my-page/ and I assumed this loss of translations happend because of switching translations methods and editing manually a translation that were added through the WPML translation editor.
So I've decided to test this scenario on our staging website. I've created a post on default english language, then added a translation to italian using the Advanced Translation editor and published it. After that I manually edited the translation again using the gutenberg editor and changed some text, but after updating the translation, no content did really got lost.
I would like to ask you, based on your support experience, if any of your customers experienced such an issue of losing translations, what could cause it and what exactly should we do to avoid this in the future.
Thanks a lot!
Kind regards
