Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit pages in Spanish using Elementor, but I can only do so in Safe Mode. When I deactivate the WPML plugin, I can edit again. I need the language switch option provided by WPML. Elementor support suggested that this issue should be resolved by WPML and provided a link to open an issue on their GitHub page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I cannot edit Spanish pages with Elementor unless in Safe Mode. Deactivating WPML allows editing, but I lose the language switch functionality.

Questions:
How can I edit Spanish pages with Elementor while keeping WPML active?
What steps should I take to resolve the conflict between WPML and Elementor?

I already increased the memory limit to 512M but the error still persists.

Hi,

Thank you for increasing the PHP memory limit. One last step I need to do to test:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except Elementor, Elementor Pro, WPML Multilingual CMS, WPML String Translation.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

If the problem persists, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

I will also need your permission to copy your website to our server for further investigation.

Thanks.

Good morning.
I would like to know if there is any update about this topic.
Besides, I noticed that the translations from the Spanish page, which has been experiencing issues, are not visible, despite being completed.

Hello,

I spent time to do troubleshooting and I found some issues that might be problematic and you need to check with the hosting service provider.

I created a video explaining the situation here:

I'd appreciate it if you could share the information I mentioned in the video with the hosting service provider and see if they have any clues to help.

thanks.

Good morning.
I contacted the hosting service provider and they told me they made the proper changes in it.
However, I still can't edit on Elementor.
Could you troubleshoot it again to see if is there any other error?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I tested the steps and I see no difference in the situation. I am not sure what the hosting service provider did, but I see nothing changed.

Would you please give me the details of what did they do?

Also, If you check the screenshot below, I tried the CloudWays migrator plugin which is a standard plugin to move a website to a Cloudways server and it can not access the website.

Clearly some abnormal limitation is happening on the server that prevents copying the website which hinders our ability to check the website.

Thanks.
