This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with automatic translation not working on their development website after changing the theme and some page content and design.

Solution:
We identified that the client was using the Marblex theme, which is not officially compatible with WPML. We suggested the following steps:
1. Contact the theme author to report the issue and inquire if they have a solution, as they claim compatibility with WPML.
2. Invite the theme author to join our Go Global program so we can collaborate on making their product compatible with WPML.
3. As an alternative, use the manual translation method provided in our documentation: Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and are willing to assist further, but we cannot adjust the theme code without the author's collaboration.

If this solution is not relevant to your case, either because it's outdated or not applicable, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

I would also need FTP access, and to disable other plugins to check what goes wrong.

Please make a backup and share FTP access to the safe box bellow.

I am trying to use FTP, but seems the credentials are not correct.

Can you please check and make sure they are working or some information is not missing?

If still not working, let me know if it is oaky for me to take a copy of your website and check further?

thanks for getting back, I have checked.

It seems you are using the theme Marblex, which is not officially compatible with WPML, so some issues can happen, such as the one you experienced, and some elements are not showing / can not be translated via WPML.

1) Usually we can help with 1-2 elements but as I can see this would need further work from the theme author with our team to make it compatible.

2) Since I see on their page they say they are compatible with WPML, I advise you to contact them and report this issue and see if they can help or have a solution from their side, that I might be misisng. Since we are not aware of this product.

3) Invite them to our GoGlobal program and we would be glad to help them out and work together in making their product compatible with WPML.

4) The only other thing I can suggest, for now, is to contact the author and if you wish to use the manual translation method translate it manually:

Hope this makes sense and you understand our side here, we would be glad to help but we can not adjust their theme code and make the product compatible with WPML without collaboration.

Hello,

you need to translate footer widgets or add widgets for each language. Please note if you have a menu in the footer you would need first to translate them and then assign that translated menu to the translated widget. Please check the next docs:
