Background of the issue:
I am trying to activate WPML on a new site hosted at hidden link. I previously activated it on another site, but something went wrong. I installed a new XAMPP and am trying to activate again using the site key provided.

Symptoms:
It writes: Unable to parse data from service response when trying to activate.

Questions:
What should I do to successfully activate WPML on my new site?
