The actual website URL is now: hidden link 1. Checkout fields which have conditional logic are not correctly translated - example: Област. 3. Filter titles can't be translated in other languages and don't show up for translation - show filters > Категории |

Hello, You’ve been inactive for a while, so I created this ticket to continue the conversation here. I’ve set up a test site with everything needed. Please visit the link below, install Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce, and reproduce an simple example of the issue you’re experiencing: - hidden link This will help speed things up. If it turns out to be a bug, I can quickly escalate it. If not, then it’s likely a configuration issue on your side that we’ll need to review further. Please let me know how it goes. Regards, |

Can't correctly set up the fields. I don't think the plugin is working correctly. Installed checkout field editor. |

Hello, Thanks for checking. It appears you tried using Checkout Field Editor for the classic checkout, while the test site is using Checkout Blocks. That’s why I suggested reproducing the example on the test site in the same way it’s set up on your website. I’ve now made switch in checkout filed editor plugin and tested this myself and created a new test field that is displayed when the email equals “test”, and it works correctly in both languages. Based on this, the plugin seems to be working as expected, so the issue is most likely related to configuration on your website. Please review the test site and confirm that everything works correctly there. After that, share a staging site along with a clear example of: - what is currently happening how can I see it, and - what the correct/expected behavior should be so I can safely investigate further. If sharing a staging site isn’t possible, I can provide instructions on how to share a copy of your website for further testing. Let me know how you’d like to proceed. Regards, |

Hello, Thanks for getting back to me. 1) I can take a quick look at the live website; however, for proper debugging I would need to temporarily disable other plugins and/or switch the theme to simplify the environment. Unfortunately, doing this on a live site is not safe. If possible, please provide a Duplicator copy of your website, as explained here: https://wpml.org/fr/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/ Alternatively, if you prefer, I can create the copy, I would just need your permission along with admin access. I’ve enabled a private reply for you to safely share the details. 2) If you can please share more info, you said: "When visiting the page at first there is "Region" field but then it is changed to "Област" from Checkout Field Editor we suppose." This field (Област (по избор)) already appears both on BG and EN checkout as I can see when visiting checkout, so I am not sure what is wrong or what I need to do to see the issue. Note I do not speak BG so I may have missed something obvious. Regards, |

Hello, Thanks for getting back to me. Let’s check one thing at a time, and we can open a new ticket later for any additional issues if needed. I believe I may have misunderstood your original report. Just to confirm: the issue is not that the conditional fields are not working, but rather that their labels are not translated in EN. Is that correct? Please confirm this, and I’ll continue investigating accordingly. Thanks, |

Hello, Thanks for the update. I’ve checked further and suspect that another plugin may be modifying the behavior and overriding the WPML translation. To investigate this properly, I need to install the Duplicator plugin and create a copy of the site for testing. However, my current user role does not have permission to install plugins. Could you please enable full admin access so I can proceed with this? Once done, I’ll continue the investigation right away. Regards, |

Hello, Thank you. I’ve taken a copy of the site and investigated this further. It appears that this is not a translation issue. The field is translated correctly and initially displays as expected. However, during page load, something overrides the checkout field, causing it to be hidden and then replaced by the default WooCommerce field. I’ve also tested this in a minimal environment, and the same behavior occurs. Based on this, it seems likely that the issue is coming from the WooCommerce Checkout plugin settings or from display/conditional rules applied to checkout fields. Do you know if any custom rules, conditions, or similar configurations have been set for this field or for the checkout fields in general? I have checked but could not find anything related. Let me know please. Regards, |

Hello, Since speaking the previous time we (prior to sending the info about disallow file mods) we disabled the custom display rule depending on the region. The only "additional" js functionality we have in checkout is in functions.php that locks the City field if "София" is selected as region. Important info: this was added after we created the ticket and noticed the issue. There are city/region translations missing as well. They are default translations of Woocommerce and the AJAX filters title translation. We need assistance with all of those as all of the plugins are marked as support either by WPML or their devs but we are running out of time to release the english version of the website. Back on the fields: |

Hello, I checked further both on local website and live website, and this seems to not be issue related to WPML, same problem happens on your default language and even when WPML disabled. You will see that that custom field is being replated on load, video: - hidden link I advise checking further on this with Checkout plugin author if any similar bug or settings can cause this. Once it works fine in default it should be also fine in translation. If not feel free to contact us and we will be glad to help. Regards, |

Hello, please check my last reply, seems we have posted at same time. Issue is not with translation of this field but with something overriding the custom checkout field you have set for region. Same issue happens in default language without WPML, please check video provided. I would advise first solving this before continue with any other new report/ticket. Let me know if any further questions. Regards, |
