Problem:
The client's custom fields on their website are not being translated, such as 'introduction' and 'description' fields added using Advanced Custom Fields and the 'my-listing' theme.
Solution:
We recommended the client to:
1. Update WordPress to the latest version.
2. Deactivate all other plugins and test with WPML only.
3. Switch to a standard theme to check for compatibility issues, as the current theme is not on our compatibility list and may be causing conflicts.
We also asked the client to confirm that they have a full backup of their site and database. Additionally, we suggested setting up a test/staging site by cloning the live site for further investigation without affecting the live environment.
If the solution provided here is not relevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
