Tell us what you are trying to do? Delete old translations, installed one directory plugin and finally it didn't work and had made a lot of translations. Now I have another directory plugin Directorist which is compatible with WPML but when I installed everything again this old translations are still there. How can I delete them because there are not option and also not an carbage icon that it was on the old installation. I will try after to import all work that I done before, had download cvs and xsml files but will see if that work.

Is there any documentation that you are following? Didn't found one helpful

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi,

Please clarify this for me:
- Are you using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor?
- Is the issue that the old translated pages are still there? Or that when you start translating the new pages with the Advanced Translation Editor old translations are immediately used?
- Is the old directory plugin deactivated or deleted?

Before I know how to help you, I need to understand exactly what translations you want to delete.

Please get back to me with this information.

Okay, yes this helps, thank you.

Now, I am not sure exactly what you mean by delete old translations, but as I see it there are two possibilities:
- You want to delete the translated pages themselves, which is the same as deleting any page. You can use either the backend language switcher or the menu to switch to the translated language, and then delete the pages normally
- You want to clear the Translation Memory. If this is the case, it can also be done but it is a different process. We can do that from our side, but you need to be sure that that is what you really want. Please read our documentation page about the subject before deciding:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/

Also, you should know that you have the option to configure WPML to delete translations of posts when deleting the original. That can be useful if you delete the old directory page and want the translations also to be deleted. In your case, if you have already deleted the original pages you wont need this option, but it is good to know it.
You can set it by going to WPML -> Settings -> Posts and pages synchronization and selecting the "When deleting a post, delete translations as well" option.

Please update me on which option you meant, or if you meant something else.

Thank you and I'm waiting for an answer from the Directory plugin support because there is a big issue with the installation and they shall solve this first before I can see if the translation is still there or not. So if I continue to have problems I will contact you again.

All the best,
Annika
