This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to translate the custom name of a submenu item, even though the URL was translated. Solution: We recommended following the steps in our official guide for translating menus. By doing so, we successfully translated and synchronized the main menu into the secondary language. The client should follow the same steps to translate the rest of the menus. Here is the guide for reference: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

Hi there! I add a category on sub menu and i rename it. The url is translate but i don't find the way to translate the custom name of my sub menu. I try to use custom link and i find url and name on string translation but menu appear still not translated. Can u help me please ?
You can translate this string by editing the menu in the original language and then switching to the secondary language using the language switcher that appears in the admin bar, at the top 🙂
The for coming back to me, i'm sorry may be i did not understand but i had to create an other menu from scratch just to translate some of menu. Any other idea ?
What I mean is that you can change to the secondary language using the language switcher -see attached image- and then translate the menu items manually there.
The for coming back to me, i well understand and may be i do somehting wrong but when i do that i had to create an english menu from scratch. As u can see in attachement the new one is empty.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. If we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
