Background of the issue:
I am using several custom Gutenberg blocks built with ACF on my website. I want to maintain the same content across different languages when using WPML. Specifically, I want to upload content like image galleries in one language and have it automatically synchronized across all other languages. I have set the ACF field settings to 'copy' for images.

Symptoms:
The behavior of synchronizing image galleries across languages does not work as expected despite setting ACF field settings to 'copy'.

Questions:
Is there a way to configure WPML and ACF so that content like image galleries can remain consistent across translations without requiring separate manual adjustments in every language?

Hello,

Please go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation and click the button "Start".

This dialog might take some time to run, as it will create the necessary entries for your media in all languages inside the media library.

In case your block uses Repeater, Groups, or Flexible Content fields, make sure that they are set to "copy".

Make sure that the post type ACF Field Group is set to "Not translate" at WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation.

After that, please edit the gallery in the original content, save the post or page, and translate it again.

If this will not solve the issue, please let us know.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

1)  In order to expedite handling your support requests, can you please share WPML support debug information from your site.

- To give debug information, login to your site and go to WPML → Support. From there click on the “debug information” link at the bottom of the page.
- Once on the “debug information” page, select the entire content of the text box and copy it.
- Now go back to our support forum, find debug information box and paste it.

More information on the link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2) Please make sure you are using the ACFML addon and following our guide:

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

Let me know if you still have issues while using the Same field across languages option.

Regards,
Drazen
