[Resolved] WPLM changs the URL of Product category
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing an issue with the WPML String Translation plugin. When the plugin is active, it changes the URL of the product categories in the Woodmart theme. Deactivating the plugin resolves the issue. Solution: We recommend checking the slug for the product categories to ensure it is set correctly. If you need to change the slugs for subcategories, you can do so by navigating to the WooCommerce Multilingual -> Categories tab. Here, you can modify the slugs as needed. If this solution does not seem relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket with us.

Please check the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> String Translation
2- Search for the attribute slug
3- Delete the translated slug
4- Resave the permalinks
5- Clear the cache and check the front end
Kindly let me know if the above steps fixed the issue.
The same steps apply to the subcategory. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Please check the slug and let me know if it works correctly. If you want to change the subcategories slug, please go to the WooCommerce Multilingual-> Categories tab and change the slugs. (hidden link)
