This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate a product using WPML, but after recent updates to WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation, the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) does not display. Instead, the spinner turns infinitely, and you receive an error message indicating that it takes longer than usual.
Solution:
We have confirmed that all systems are now functioning correctly again. However, there might still be a short delay as the system processes a backlog of accumulated jobs. We recommend trying to translate again now and checking if the ATE displays correctly.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a product using WPML. Since the last updates made today to WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation, the ATE (Advanced Translation Editor) does not display when I try to translate an item like a page or product.

Symptoms:
The ATE never displays, and the spinner turns infinitely. I received an error message saying it takes longer than usual.

Questions:
Why is the ATE not displaying after the recent updates?
How can I resolve the issue of the spinner turning infinitely?

Hey there,

Thanks so much for your patience while we looked into the issue with the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). Our developers have confirmed that all systems are now functioning correctly again. 🎉

That said, there may still be a short delay as the system works through a backlog of accumulated jobs. We’d really appreciate it if you could try again now and let us know if everything works as expected on your end.

Thanks again for bearing with us!

Best regards,
Lucas
