Background of the issue:
I updated to WPML version 4.7.3, and since then, the option to connect another language post is empty, which was working before.

Symptoms:
The window shows no dropdown to select the post in another language.

Questions:
Why is the option to connect another language post empty after the update?
How can I restore the dropdown to select the post in another language?

Hi,

The issue is escalated to the development team. It might take time for the issue to be resolved, that is why the workaround below is suggested for you to update WPML to version 4.7.3 and be able to connect the translations:

- Go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Translation Management > Translators
- Add the user with the Editor role as a Translation Manager.
- That will fix the issue.

Thank you.
