Hello,

I'm encountering an issue with the Salient theme I'm using on my website at hidden link. I've noticed that the "link target translation" feature is not functioning correctly.

Whenever I try to set the appropriate option for translating links. Links on the page do not change.

Hi there,

You can simply search for the links in the Advanced Translation editor using the method below:

https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/

That way you will be able to translate them.

The link target translation feature is only for scenarios that the link is internal inside the website and it contains the whole URL.

So for example if in Salient you added a link like:

/about/

That will not work.

But if you add a link like:

hidden link

That should.

Thanks.

Hello,

On the website hidden link, I currently have a link like this: hidden link. However, it's not being modified.

What could be the reason for this

It should be checked how it is implemented. That does not look like a normal link used in the theme.

I checked your website plugin list and I saw there is a plugin called "Custom Salient Components".

That plugin is not tested by us, if you used a component with that plugin, it might be the fact that the component is not compatible with WPML.

If that is the case, please contact the plugin developer and ask them to use the documentation below to make their component compatible with WPML:

Thanks.
