This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Background of the issue:
I am in the process of translating my website, including posts and pages into English. For certain pages, I prefer not to translate the entire content but would like to display both the default language and English on the same page.
Symptoms:
I am encountering an issue with WPML, which requires a complete translation of the whole page into English; otherwise, the page will not be accessible in the English version. I attempted to bypass the translation by clicking to close the translated sections and retain the default language; however, the page did not display in the English version.
Questions:
How can I display both the default language and English on the same page without translating the entire content?
Is there a way to bypass the complete translation requirement in WPML?
Sorry, i did not make it clear in the first part of my message:

I prefer not to translate the entire content into English but I would like to display specific sections, while the remainder of the default language will not be displayed.

Welcome to the WPML support forum. Thanks for contacting us.
While waiting for one of my colleagues to help with this ticket, and based on what you've described, allow me to give you some pointers
- WPML and our Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) will allow you to do an exact translation the page. In that case everything needs to be translated.
- If you want a different content or design, you will need to deactivate our editor and do a manual translation in the WordPress editor. The same way you created the English page, you will have to create the translation page.
