This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to translate certain strings that were previously translated. They also noticed an issue with a category name appearing in Arabic and a link pointing to an Arabic URL, suggesting a broader issue with WPML.
Solution:
We recommended enabling the 'Look for strings while pages are rendered' option to identify conflicting language files outside the wp-content/language/wpml directory. The client should back up and then remove each language file outside this directory to see if it resolves the issue. For the specific issue of the 'shop' page title in Arabic, the client needs to translate the page title at https://mp-performance.ae/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page&lang=ar.
Additionally, we advised duplicating the wp-content/language folder for backup, then removing wp-content/language/plugins and wp-content/language/themes to check if translations appear correctly. We also addressed a separate issue regarding product breadcrumbs in a different ticket.
Lastly, we instructed the client to remove the language file at \wp-content\languages\ar.l10n and apply a fix available at https://wpml.org/errata/l10n-php-performant-default-translated-strings-not-displaying-correctly/.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

I still need some help with WPML

I’m trying to get some strings translated. But somehow cannot get them done. I searched for exact word, tried many things. Cannot translate those. They were translated in the past, but the translation is gone for some reason. Check the photo:

Thanks for your reply.

It worked fine when I enabled the "Look for strings while pages are rendered" as shown in the attached screenshot. This means there are some other language files outside of this language folder in wp-content/language/wpml that conflict with the strings.

Could you backup and try to remove each language file outside of wp-content/language/wpml and see if it fixes it?

As for the page title "shop" in Arabic language, you'll have to translate the page title here hidden link

I can see many files. Which ones do you suggest to start deleting?

And after I delete each file, what do I need to do? I need steps or the process it self.

Delete each file and test the process you recommend? I need to know exactly what needs to be done.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

You can try duplicating the wp-content/language folder as a backup and then, remove the wp-content/language/plugins first and then wp-content/language/themes . While removing the folders, check and see if the translation shows fine.

Please let me know how it goes.

Somehow it didn't work for me.

I got duplicator pro. Wanna download the whole backup then get it installed locally in your apache server using duplicator.

Will that work?

Thanks for your patience.

Please remove this language file as shown in the attached screenshot.

\wp-content\languages\ar.l10n

Then, apply this fix to your Website https://wpml.org/errata/l10n-php-performant-default-translated-strings-not-displaying-correctly/
