This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are importing and translating products from Polish (PL) to Latvian (LV), and your site's default language is Latvian. In WP All Import, you have marked that the import language is Polish. However, you expected to see products in Polish, but they are appearing in Latvian instead.
Solution:
The issue occurs because the Polish language is hidden, and a cron job is running. This is a known issue that we are currently tracking. As a workaround, we recommend you unhide the Polish language. You can find more details on a similar issue in our forum: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/problem-when-periodically-updating-items-via-cron/page/2/.
Please try this workaround and let us know if it resolves the issue. We will keep you updated once a permanent fix is available in a future version of WPML.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at our support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am importing and translating products from Polish (PL) to Latvian (LV). The site's default language is Latvian. In WP All Import, I have marked that the import language is Polish. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
I expected to see products in Polish language, but instead, I got products in Latvian.

Questions:
Why are the products showing in Latvian instead of Polish after import?
Is there a specific setting in WP All Import or WPML that I might have missed?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.

I see your PL language is hidden, can you please try to unhide it and then re-run the import?

Thanks,
Drazen

Import was working fine even PL language was hidden. The issue started when I ran the import chron job on my server.

Hi,

The issue happens precisely because the Polish language is hidden, and a corn job has been running. We've had a similar report escalated to our developers. You can see it here.

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/problem-when-periodically-updating-items-via-cron/page/2/

As a workaround, you need to unhide the Polish language.

I've added this ticket to our internal tracking of the problem. We will update you here once a permanent fix is included in a future version of WPML.

Please try the workaround and let us know if it works for you.

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hello,

I have unhidden PL language and run manual product import and as I see after import, there are 427 products processed in PL, but on the Product page, I see only 149.

Hi,

In this ticket, we dealt with the problem of importing products in Polish when they were hidden, and you used a corn job for the import.

Is this problem solved now?

If so, please open a new ticket to address the problem of not importing all Polish products. Please understand that we try to keep one issue per ticket in our forum.

Also, please follow our guides about working with WP All Import.
