WPML does not show flags and does not show the lates translation

corneliusG-2	Background of the issue: I am trying to use WPML to display flags and show the latest translations on my website. The issue can be seen on the page: hidden link. I expected the flag to change when a new language is selected, and the page hidden link to show the correct translation when selecting English. Symptoms: WPML does not show flags and does not display the latest translation. The flag does not change when a new language is pressed, and the page does not show the correct translation when trying to pick English. Questions: Why does WPML not show flags? Why does WPML not display the latest translation? Why does the flag not change when a new language is selected? Why does the page not show the correct translation when selecting English?

corneliusG-2	I have now - create a full website backup  - disable all plugins except WPML and its add-ons  - check if the issue is happening again  - if it's not, reactivate your plugins one by one, checking every time if the issue shows up again so that you can understand which plugin is causing that issue - leave all the non-WPML plugins deactivated  - switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen  - try to recreate the issue now The issue still persists 🙂

I noticed that the sub-menu flag is not displayed due to some custom CSS that might be added to your theme. I suggested removing the custom CSS and checking if the problem exists. Could you please elaborate on the following? the page does not show the correct translation when trying to pick English.

corneliusG-2	I have tried removing all costume CSS but with no luck, the flag now shows but does not change when clicked. I have added a screen shot of that the English site is chosen, the URL displays this but the danish flag is till present: With regards to the: the page does not show the correct translation when trying to pick English. the translation that is made through WPML is not shown on the page etc on page hidden link the first part is written in danish even though it is translated to englsih through WPML: Danish: Har du spørgsmål eller kan du ikke finde en behandling, du ønsker, så ring eller skriv til klinikken. Vi er klar til at hjælpe dig. Should be this in English: If you have any questions or cannot find the treatment you want, please call or write to the clinic. We are ready to help you. The English flag has now appeared, and I thought it had been changed in some way. Can you try to add the language switcher to the footer to test if it works the same way as in the menu?
