Background of the issue:
After the last WPML plugin update, I noticed that all my French (FR) pages have been translated to English (EN), resulting in four new EN translated pages per FR page. Our source language is EN, so these new translations are unnecessary. I have already disabled the 'automatic translation' option in WPML settings. Here is a link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The WPML plugin update is creating new English translations for my French pages, even though the source language is English and automatic translation is disabled.

Questions:
Why are new English translations being created for my French pages after the WPML update?
How can I stop WPML from creating new translations when the plugin is updated?

While one of my teammates handles your ticket, I will provide you with initial debugging steps.

Could you please provide a screenshot that shows the issue? As you may already know, you can disable automatic translation in the WPML → Translation Management section.

If there are any pending automatic translations, you can cancel them by going to WPML → Settings → Troubleshooting, and then clicking on "Cancel in-progress automatic jobs"
