Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the website into multiple languages. It is built using Gutenberg blocks with Carbon Fields. However, when trying to display the content in the admin panel, an error occurs. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
I encounter an error when trying to edit the page from the admin panel. Additionally, no blocks are displayed on the frontend at all.

Questions:
Why are Gutenberg blocks not displaying in other languages?
What is causing the error in the admin panel when trying to edit the page?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Although we don't have much on the Carbon Fields, since it is not a plugin but a 3rd party library. However, I found one report which addresses the issue about complex or serialized fields handling in the said (or similar plugins).

Our team has published an errata at https://wpml.org/errata/custom-fields-with-complex-keys-are-stored-as-serialized-arrays-in-wpml/ to deal with this temporarily, while they are working on a more better solution.

Please try the workaround and let me know if this helps.

Regards.
