[Waiting for user feedback] problem when changing language en/ro
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Our wait time is higher than usual, please make sure you are meeting the minimum requirement - https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements before you report issues, and if you can take a look at current Known Issues - https://wpml.org/known-issues/. Thank you.
Background of the issue:
I am trying to switch languages on my website, specifically between English and Romanian. We have encountered a problem with the products in the cart not being saved when the language is changed. Previously, this switch worked without issues. The problem can be seen on this page: hidden link.
Symptoms:
When changing the language, products in the cart are removed. Specifically, the message 'Ulei de masaj cu extract de banana 150ml has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.' appears.
Questions:
Why are products being removed from the cart when changing languages?
How can I ensure products remain in the cart after switching languages?
Please try the following steps after a full site backup {mandatory} and make sure the bug exists or not.
1) Upgrade to the latest version of WordPress (6.7.2)
2) Upgrade to the latest version of plugins
3) Upgrade to the latest version of your theme (Impreza 8.34.1)
4) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details or contact your system admin/hosting provider for this purpose.

Thank you for the updates. Please try the WPML and then the WooCommerce Multilingual troubleshooting steps after a full site backup {mandatory} and make sure the bug exists or not.
Thank you for the updates. Please allow me to make a copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) for debugging the issue on my local server. So we can troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site.
Thank you for the permission. But I am not able to access the site backend now. It shows the following warning. The result is the same after several tries from different systems and browsers.
