[Resolved] Problem with the wrong template layout for theme after translation.
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with the template layout for their theme after adding several languages using WPML. Specifically, the Home and Contact Us pages are not being picked up properly by WPML, resulting in different layouts for these pages after translation. Solution: We recommend checking if the page options are fully copied over for the affected languages. In this case, the French language pages were not displaying correctly because the page options were not fully copied. To resolve this, you can follow the steps provided in this video tutorial: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZXUD7nVRYU.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket at our support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am experiencing a problem with the template layout for my theme after adding several languages using WPML. The translations went well except for new pages like Home and Contact Us, which weren't picked up properly by WPML.
Symptoms:
There are different layouts for the Home and Contact Us pages after translation, which doesn't look proper.
Questions:
Why are the new pages not being picked up properly by WPML?
How can I ensure the template layout is consistent across all languages?
I've checked your screenshots and I can see the issue you had there. Looks like to me the page options are not copied to the translated page.
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
I've checked the home and contact us page and it looks fine. May I know which page are you referring to? Maybe you can share the URL of the page in question?
After first installation I’ve chosen several languages with English as a main language and all was OK.
Later I added several more languages and it is when the problem appeared for Home and Contacts pages respectively. All other pages worked well.
For following pages
Example of the problem is here
Picture 3 and 4
When I am trying to switch template to default (Theme) it doesn’t work well.
I’ve switched of and on the WPML template sync, but it didn’t help.
It will be great if you simply tell me what to do and I can do it myself.
Thank you!
Roman
I mean, that for English and several other languages after first installation - template works just fine.
For several other languages like French, etc. it results in troubles.
