This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client changed their domain and is now unable to update or activate the WPML and OTGS Installer plugins. The WPML dashboard shows no credits, and the plugins such as WPML Multilingual CMS, WPML String Translation, and WPML Media Translation are not connected.
Solution:
If you're experiencing issues with your WPML license key after changing your domain, we recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial in your website's admin area.
2. Unregister WPML by clicking the unregister link.
3. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites/ and delete the existing site key.
4. Return to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial on your website.
5. Click the register link and register your new domain.
If you cannot activate the OTGS Installer plugin and already have the WPML plugin installed, this is expected. You should:
- Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial, update/install, and add any new key as needed.
If issues persist, please provide an image or video of the problem, or consider opening a new chat for quick assistance.
This solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
