Background of the issue:
I have a website running WPML and Super Store Finder plugin, a map with locations coming from the CMS. Our site is hosted on Kinsta servers, so everything is given to perform well. The site's performance is great when only one of them is active. Doesn't matter if I'm using our team or if I use a default theme. The conflict is between these two plugins.

Symptoms:
When the Super Store Finder and the WPML String Translation plugins are active, my website gets slow.

Questions:
Is there any way to resolve the conflict between WPML String Translation and Super Store Finder plugins?
Are there any additional troubleshooting steps I can take to improve site performance?

Hi there!

I hope you’re doing well! I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for your patience throughout this process. It's really made a difference and has allowed me to set up the site locally and thoroughly test various elements.

From the tests I conducted, I noticed that the only time there was a slowdown was when the FacetWP plugins were activated. It might be a good idea for you to temporarily disable those plugins to see if that helps speed things up.

While I'm not entirely sure if there's a direct link between those plugins and the amount of data in your database, the volume of content on a site can definitely impact performance. Let's take a look at the amount of content we have:

- 181 pages
- 60 "Management" entries
- 15 "Liovix" entries
- 65 "Terms" entries
- 132 "Reports" entries
- 95 "GOV Docs" entries
- 194 "Products" entries

That’s quite a bit of content! With a site of this scale—especially with content translated into four languages—it's possible that we may need some extra server resources.

Additionally, we currently have 20 active plugins. While that’s not an excessive number (I’ve seen sites struggling with 30 to 40 plugins), it’s still something to keep in mind for performance.

Since you asked for more troubleshooting tips, here are a couple of resources I thought would be helpful:

When you have a moment, please check them out. They can offer some valuable insights to help enhance the site’s performance.

I'm not entirely sure which Kinsta plan you’re on, especially since they have a variety of options, some of which might not be ideal for product-heavy sites. If you don’t see improvement after trying the suggestions in the links, I recommend considering an upgrade to your hosting plan. Even a temporary upgrade, like a trial or one-month upgrade, could really help you see if there's any difference in performance.

During my local testing, I didn’t encounter any major performance issues, which leads me to believe that the server resources might be the key factor here. However, let's not overlook that having a significant amount of content in four languages, along with 20 active plugins, can contribute to the database size and impact overall performance.

I’m eager to hear how things go! Please keep me updated on the results after you try the steps from the links I shared.

Looking forward to your response!
