This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needs to translate the WBW product filter on their site using WPML but cannot find the strings in the plugin.
Solution:
We currently do not have the WBW product filter plugin certified for WPML, which means we cannot provide specific guidance on how to translate it. The plugin authors claim compatibility, but there is no clear workflow provided. We recommend contacting the plugin authors to inquire about their compatibility status with WPML. If the plugin supports specific functions with WPML, suggest to the authors that they sign up for official WPML certification through our Go Global Program.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Hi,

We currently do not have this plugin listed as certified for WPML, so we cannot provide specific guidance on how to translate it correctly: https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=product+filter&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search.

The plugin authors claim compatibility: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/product-categories-filter-not-working-with-wpml/. However, I see multiple users in their forum asking about this without clear workflow explanations: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-use-the-product-filter-by-wbw-plugin-on-a-bilingual-site/. Additionally, other WPML clients have reported issues: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/losing-filter-function-of-product-filter-by-wbw-in-secondary-language/.

Could you please ask the plugin authors about their compatibility status first? If specific functions are supported, you can recommend they sign up for official WPML certification here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/.

Best Regards,
Marcel
