[Resolved] Avada options top header content tranlsation failing, again
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was trying to translate the phone number in the header content from Catalan to Spanish and English using the Avada theme options, but the translations were not displaying correctly. The string was translated in WPML String Translation, but the issue persisted with incorrect translations showing or the fields being empty.
Solution: 1. Navigate to Avada-> Options-> Header. 2. Switch the language using the top admin bar. 3. Enter the translated phone string for the respective language. 4. Save the settings.
Additionally, the English string was incorrectly flagged as Catalan in the String Translation. We corrected the source language, which resolved the issue.

I am trying to: translate Avada> Options> header> Header Content> Phone Number For Contact Info> from CAT to ESP and ENG.
CAT "Festival de Cinema LGTBI • Del 6 al 16 de juny 2024 • A l´Institut Francès" hidden link
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: ESP hidden link ENG hidden link
I expected to see:
ESP "Festival de Cine LGTBI • Del 6 al 16 de junio 2024 • En el Instituto Francés"
ENG "Festival de Cinema LGTBI • Del 6 al 16 de juny 2024 • A l´Institut Francès"
Instead, I got: Empty.
1) The string is correctly translated in WPML> String translation.
2) On AVADA> Options... I set up the CAT text and erased the ESP and ENG versions. Then tried both saving the CAT text for "All languages" and then individually in each language. if I set the translated text here, it displays the english translation in spanish and an old translation in english. A mess. I cleared WPML´s cache and strings many times, it did not work. I´ve had this problem for years now 🙁
Hi Waqas
Wpml updated. Did you fix this bug specifically on the last update?
The bug is still there, I´ve had it for years, as I already mentioned.
The problem is between WPML and Avada options. Can you please debug further and let me know which steps I should follow for the translated string to show up in place on the front end?
Thank you
I'm Osama from WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Hi Osama
No, it´s not displaying the right string
> "From June 6 to 16, 2024 • At the French Institute" (the one displaying is an old one).
The right string is
> FIRE!! LGTBI Cinema Festival • From June 6 to 16, 2024 • At the French Institute
I didn't have access to the Google Drive file. However, I was able to fix the issue by changing the string in the Avada options and String Translation. (hidden link)
