This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using the WPML plugin on their multilingual website and wants to translate 206 pages into three languages without translating the 'ürünler' part of the products or any WooCommerce product pages. They also want to keep product pages translatable for SEO purposes but exclude them from automatic translation.
Solution:
1. To estimate the cost for translating the pages, use the calculator provided at https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/.
2. To translate content in bulk and publish automatically without manual review, navigate to WPML -> Translation Management, select the content for translation, and in the section below, choose to have the content published automatically.
3. To exclude specific parts like 'ürünler' or WooCommerce product pages from being translated, adjust the settings in WPML -> Translation Management. Ensure the product's configuration is set to “Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language” but deactivate automatic translation for the site at the top of WPML -> Translation Management.

Background of the issue:
We are using the WPML plugin on our multilingual website, hidden link. We have 206 untranslated pages that we want to translate into English, German, and Russian, totaling 3 languages. Each page contains around 200–300 words.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
How many credits would we approximately need to translate all 206 pages into 3 languages?
Is there a way to translate and publish all 206 pages in bulk without manually entering and approving each one?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

1.- In this link: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/ you will find a calculator to create a cost estimation for the automatic translation.

2.- Yes, you can automatically translate the content in bulk without reviewing it. Just go to WPML -> Translation Management -> Select the content for translation, and in the section below, select that the content gets published automatically.

You can also change this configuration in WPML -> Settings.

Regards,
Carlos

As I sent in the attachment, I do not want to translate the "ürünler" part of the products. I want to translate the rest automatically. How can we exclude them? They are all selected automatically.

Hi,

Can you explain what do you mean by the "ürünler" part of the products?

we essentially want to exclude all pages within woocommerce meaning all the product pages shouldn't be translated.

There are too many pages under this tree and they are already english which is sufficient.

Would there be a way to translate all the new pages, blogs but exclude all woocommerce related product pages?

I'm trying to manage the translation behavior of product pages on my site using WPML.

In the Post Types Translation settings, I’ve selected:
“Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language” for the product post type. This keeps the hreflang tags active, which is important for SEO.

However, despite this setting, product pages still appear under the Automatic Translation section and are added to the queue for automatic translation. I do not want products to be automatically translated — only manually when necessary.

If I set product to “Not Translatable”, then hreflang tags disappear, and no alternative language versions are generated — leading to duplicate content issues in search engines.

What I need is:

To keep products translatable (so hreflang tags are preserved),

But exclude them from automatic translation.

Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to achieve this in the interface. Could you please advise how to handle this specific scenario?

Hi,

To achieve this, you will need to deactivate the automatic translation for the site in WPML -> Translation management -> At the top.

Leave the product's configuration as “Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language”.

With the above configuration,n you can now select which content you want to automatically translate on your site via WPML -> Translation management.
