I need help translating the menus, the settings and the site/theme default texts.

There are different ways of translating your menu, depending on how much control you want to have over the translations. Please check our documentation on the subject: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/ Please note that first, the pages contained in the menu must be translated. As for the general texts, that do not belong to posts, pages or user created content (they are called strings), they must be translated via WPML > String Translation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/ If that does not help, one of my colleagues will soon come to continue support.
