Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, I'd like to assist you with some initial debugging steps to expedite the support process.
Could you please follow these steps and kindly let me know the outcome:
1. It appears that the issue you are encountering is specific to the single page of the destinations post type. To address this, ensure that translation is enabled for the destinations post type by referring to the instructions provided in this documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/
3. Ensure that you are using the latest versions of both your theme and plugins on your site to avoid any compatibility issues.
4. Before proceeding, clear all sorts of caches on your site, including server cache, plugin cache, and CDN cache (if any). Additionally, clear your browser cache. After completing this step, check if the issue has been resolved.
5. It seems that some special characters or broken code might be appearing at the top left of the page. Please review your code and attempt to rectify any such issues. This action may help resolve the problem you are experiencing.
Thank you for contacting the support and providing the debug information.
I am unable to see theme details in the info but from page source looks like it is "rentacampervan". This theme unfortunately isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/theme/). I'll recommend checking with a standard WordPress theme like 2021 or 2023 first.
IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand.
Further, you can also try with WPML plugins only, to ensure if this is really coming from WPML, because on home page I see the language switcher.
I ‘ll also advise you to fix “WP Memory Limit” to at least 128MB while 256MB is recommended. See https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/ for detailed information. You can set this in your wp-config.php file by adding following code:
The home page is displaying the lang , but why does it only display English ?
Perhaps home page hasn't been translated to other languages. Or if you translated but it may not be 100% completed.
Sure, please take your time and try the suggestions I mentioned in my previous message. And let me know how it goes.
The topic ‘[Closed] lang selector not displaying in footer’ is closed to new replies.
