after syncronizing menu I lost all the mega menu settings in the second language (english)
How can I get back and fix things?

Hi,

I am sorry to hear you lost your Mega Menu settings, however there is not simple way to revert changes made using WP Menus Sync, as they are now stored in the database.

Perhaps we can fix the issue.

Please answer the following:
- Are these settings the same across languages?
- Were all the settings lost?

I would like to request admin access to your site, in order to take a look.

I have set your next reply to be private so you can share credentials there.
Remember that it is always better to create a new admin user for me, then when we are done you can delete it.

Dear Eran,
I just solved the problem applying the same settings I have in Italian to the English menu, manually.
The settings should have been the same, I don't know if this is the right way to proceed ... and if it is normal loosing them during menu syncronization.
Is there any suggestion / best practice you can give me for the future?

I see that Max Mega Menu is not in our officially compatible plugins directory, which may be the reason the WP Menus Sync overwrote the settings.

What we can do is try to replicate this issue in a minimal test site, and then I can pass it along to the development team and they can look for a solution.

This is a test site I set up which we can use, please use the link to log in and recreate the issue minimally (no need to import your site). A simple menu, with the settings that were overwritten on your site in the translated version. Do not sync yet, as we want to first make a backup so we can revert to it, if we manage to recreate the lost settings issue.

I checked with Megamenu support and they told me that it's normal to loose settings with syncronization ... so for now the only solution is to re add them manually to the translated language.
