This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using the MailChimp Multilingual plugin with the MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress plugin to translate strings. Recently, the Checkbox label text on the Woocommerce checkout page is not being translated, despite the string being translated in WPML's String Translation.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Ensure you have a full backup of your website.
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Check for updates". Update all available plugins to the latest versions.
3. Go to WPML > String Translation, select and delete the "Sign up to Leta newsletters" string.
4. Proceed to WPML > Theme and Plugin Localization, select and scan the plugin that contains this string.
5. Clear all your website's caches.
6. Return to WPML > String Translation and re-add the translation for the string.
7. Clear all caches again.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the MailChimp Multilingual plugin with the MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress plugin to translate strings. The plugin worked well for years, but recently, the Checkbox label text on the Woocommerce checkout page is no longer translated. The issue can be seen at hidden link (after you add something to the Cart in Russian part of the site).

Symptoms:
The Checkbox label text on the Woocommerce checkout page is not translated, even though the string is translated in Strings Translation.

Questions:
Why is the Checkbox label text on the Woocommerce checkout page not translating?
Is there a recent change in the plugin that could cause this issue?

Michael

Thank you! The problem is solved.

After I deleted the string and scanned the plugin, this string did't appear again. However, I turned on automatic string adding when browsing on a site and when I visited checkout page, the string was registered. I translated it and everything is fine now.

Thank you for your help!
