Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the WPML plugin on my site hidden link. I have 80k prepaid credits for automatic translation.

Symptoms:
I am receiving an error indicating that I don't have enough credits, despite having 80k prepaid credits. I deleted the website, re-generated the key, and re-installed the plugin, but the problem persists.

Questions:
Why am I receiving an error about insufficient credits when I have 80k prepaid credits?
How can I resolve the issue of the WPML plugin not recognizing my credits?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Are those screenshots from the same site? I mean, not from different environments like staging and live versions?

If they are from from different environments, you can connect both environments using the same translation credits:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-subscription-for-multiple-sites/

I’ve checked hidden link and can confirm that the site has credits assigned.

Hello,

Yes, I know the site has credit assigned and the screenshots are not only from the same site, but taken 1min apart.

The error is still active, with the credits visible on the same backend.

Thanks,
Anele

Thank you for your feedback, Anele.

Could you please try removing the automatic translation credits from your wpml.org account and then reassigning them to your site?

You can follow these guides:
• Remove credits from a site: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/#how-to-remove-credits-from-a-site
• Assign credits to a site: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/#assign-automatic-translation-credits

Let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need further help.

Hello,

I Removed all the credits I could - they allowed me to remove everything apart from the 2000 free credits.

Then I added them back again.

Nothing happened, the same error persists.

Like I've said, before I removed the key, deleted the website, de-registered, made another key, connected it to the website, and added the credits, and the same thing was happening.

Please advise.

Could yo please do this one more time unregister it and register it again with a new site key?

1. In the admin of the site, go to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab.

2. Click the 'Unregister site' option and approve.

3. Delete the currently registered site with the problem from your account here: https://wpml.org/account/sites/.

4. Then, back on your in the commercial tab, press the 'Get a key for this site' option. A new tab will open on your wpml.org account.

5. Reregister your site again and copy the new key.

6. Back in the admin, insert the new site key, and click the Register button.

7. Assign the credits to the site. You may need to log out and log in from your wpml.org account to see the change.

Let me know how it goes.

Can you remove all of the credits form the current site before I do this? I can only remove until 2000 are left in the site.

The credits should automatically return to your wpml.org account. If you don’t see them there, please let me know and I’ll manually reassign them for you.

Hey,

I did what you said, and the credits are now all gone. See image attached.
Please manually put them back...

Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.

Please check this now, you should be able to assign the credits. If you do not see the credits to assign, please create a new site key and register the site with it. I will add them later.

So I registered with the new site key.

I am still getting the same error message.

And now I see I have double the credits... You can take away the additional 80k you added.
But the error is there...

Can you please advise on a new solution?

Thanks

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site where the problem has been replicated, if possible, in order to be of better help. When you log in to leave your next reply, you will find the needed fields below the comment area. The information you will enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

Thank you for the details.

Could you please check again now?

I went to WPML → Support → Troubleshooting and canceled the pending automatic translation jobs. After that, a message appeared prompting to fix and assign the credits—I simply clicked the button. Once that was done, I was able to send new content for automatic translation.

I tested this with the page: hidden link.

Hello!

Thanks, this worked!

I have two more questions:
- My website (New.verbier-ride.com) is a site which is under construction. Once we are done with the preparations, we will be switching to verbier-ride.com
Do I need to make a new key & translate again once we change the URL?

- We have the DIVI builder. The menu is not getting fully translated. Only the items that are not 'custom links' are being translated. We have the Mega menu option of the menu, so there are many custom links and now it looks weird. How to make these translations?

Thanks
