[Resolved] title and button which I can't find in the string translations or other translat
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to find the title above the Contact Form 7 on their multilingual site, which displayed 'CONTÁCTANOS' in every language. Solution: 1. We confirmed that the client had installed the "Contact Form 7 Multilingual" plugin add-on and asked if they had followed the steps to translate the form button as outlined in our documentation: Using Contact Form 7 with WPML.
2. For the untranslated title, we suggested two steps: 2.1 Enable the "Look for strings while pages are rendered" option in WPML > String Translation, visit the page with the issue, and then search for the string again in WPML > String Translation. 2.2 If the string was not found, it might be an admin text, and we provided a link to the documentation on how to find and translate admin text strings: Finding strings that don’t appear on the String Translation page.
If this solution doesn't look relevant, please open a new support ticket here.

On this page I see a title and button which I can't find in the string translations or other translatations.
Can you help find it?

Thanks.
Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I will try to help.
1. From what I can see, this is a "Contact Form 7" type of form and I can see that you already installed the "Contact form 7 Multilingual" plugin add-on.
Can you please let me know if you had the chance to follow the steps in the documentation below to translate the form button?
2. In regards to the heading, I am not sure if this is also added inside the form or if it is added separately but I will share some steps that you can follow in case this header is NOT added inside the form itself so that maybe we can find the title and translate it from WPML > String Translation.
2.1 Please try this:
Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go in the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.
2.2 If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text.
PS: If you can't still figure it out by following the steps above, we will be happy to take a deeper look and we will ask for credentials at that moment.
Hi Mihai,
I found the sent button. Unfortunately I didn't find the title above the form. It's not in the form it self. I can't find it in the page. and not in the string translations.
On every langauge it is saying: CONTÁCTANOS.
I was looking at the link you send me and trying some thing there, but also didn't find any solution there.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of the site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box.
