Background of the issue:
I am trying to complete a translation on my site hidden link using WPML. The translation is marked as 100% complete.

Symptoms:
The translation won't leave the queue and I can't see the translated page on the front end.

Questions:
Why won't the completed translation leave the queue?
Why can't I see the translated page on the front end?

Hey there,

Thank you for sharing all the details. It seems you are having an issue with the latest version of WPML's Translation Editor.

The best way to solve that, is to revert to the previous version, until we can find a fix for this issue. This has no impact on existing translations and should solve your issue. Make sure to have a full website backup before proceeding.

Simply go to the editor, click the cog icon in the top right corner of the screen, and toggle the option to use the previous version.

You can also disable the bigger segments option if you prefer to translate paragraphs as separate sentences.

After that, try saving the translation again. Let me know if that solves your issue.

Hi, I switched the translation interface to the previous version as instructed, however the homepage is still in the translation queue and did not register as "completed"

This is what I'm seeing now in my page list - "Waiting for automatic translation". I Go into the page, see that everything is translated and reviewed, and I click "complete translation" at the bottom, and it goes back to "waiting for automatic translation" in the page list. Please help!

Thanks for sharing the details.

Please check the steps here:

Let me know if that solves it. May that not be the case, I'll ask access to your website to look into it in more detail. Thank you.

Hi it will not allow me to delete the job. I edited the homepage as the article suggested but that didn't change anything.

Here's a temporary admin login. The page is "Home"

Hey there,

I've removed the temporary access you shared, because this Forum might become public in the future. Nonetheless, I checked your website, but couldn't find a solution right away.

I'll get a second opinion with our devs. To do that, I need to have an admin user in your website, so they can check your settings and information in more detail.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.

I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Thank you for sharing the access details.

We won't need FTP access at first, thank you for asking. I've taken your ticket to our devs and will get back to you as soon as I have new information.
