Background of the issue:
I want to update "WPML Multilingual CMS" and "WPML String Translation" but failed. The site I need help with is hidden link. The installer log shows multiple instances of 'Unable to register: Site key not matching' and 'Installer cannot contact our updates server to get information about the available products and check for new versions.' The log suggests adding 'define("OTGS_DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATES", true);' to the wp-config.php file if the problem persists.

Symptoms:
Unable to update WPML plugins due to 'Site key not matching' error and 'Installer cannot contact our updates server' message.

Questions:
How can I resolve the 'Site key not matching' error?
What steps should I take to ensure the installer can contact the updates server?

Hi,

1) I converted the chat to a ticket due to inactivity.

Please check the following steps:

1. Login to your WPML account >> go to the Sites page
2. Delete the existing site key.
3. Create a new subscription key for your site.
4. Visit the Site Dashboard and go to Plugins >> Add New >> Commercial tab.
5. Click on the “Unregister WPML from this site” button.
6. Register with the new site key and refresh the page.

Kindly let me know if the above steps fixed the issue.

2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me a lot of information about how your site is configured.

Best regards,
Osama
