Background of the issue:
I am trying to filter custom post type 'event' with FacetWP on our page: hidden link. We use an ACF field 'categories' in our 'events' ACF group as the data source. This group has been translated. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The translation doesn't appear on the front-end. I expected to see 'Conferencia' and 'exposición', but instead, I got 'Conference - exhibition'.

Questions:
Why doesn't the translation appear on the front-end?
How can I make the translated terms appear correctly?

Can you try this?

It is possible that you have the same scenario.

To confirm, you did this after adding the code:

Visit the page on front-end original language to register the strings

But nothing new appeared within String Translation?

Go to WPML > String Translation and translate the strings (FacetWP textdomain / Facet Display Value : * name)

So the same category names but listed under a different domain?

Yes exactly, the strings go up in the string translation tab into another domain. But even translated, in front, it still in English.

Can you tell me if the code is still there? As on hidden link I see no labels such as "Conference"

Or did you revert the site as it was before you tried that code?
