This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client encountered an error message after attempting to update the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin, which resulted in issues with the website translations.
Solution:
If you're experiencing similar issues after updating the WPML plugin, we recommend the following steps:
1. Create a full backup of your website.
2. Navigate to your site's files via FTP or your hosting file manager, go to

wp-content/plugins/

, and delete the

sitepress-multilingual-cms

folder completely.
3. Download the latest version of the WPML plugin from our downloads page.
4. Go to your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload, and manually install and activate the plugin.

I am trying to: updated the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin, but there is an error message acquired. Due to this error other website translations are damaged.

I expected to see: updated plugin and correct designs in each language version of the cvforu.eu website.

Instead, I got:

Hi there.

Those errors are pretty weird and it sounds like they are somehow related to the server's permissions or to some existing files that are still there, on the server.

Let's try this:

1. Please create a full website backup
2. Then navigate through your site's files > wp-content > plugins > and make sure that you completely delete the "sitepress-multilingual-cms" folder
3. Then, download the latest version of our plugin: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
4. Then, go to Plugins > Add new > Upload > and manually install it and activate it.
