Subject: Automatic Translation Issues – Critical Content Missing from Translations
Hello WPML support team,
I am experiencing serious issues with your automatic translation service. Despite paying a premium price for automatic translations, the output is incomplete and causes confusion to visitors. For example, in the following product page:
🔗 hidden link
Several critical product fields such as:
- Capacity
- Number of axes
- Measurements
- Own weight
...are either not translated or do not show the corresponding values that are present in the Greek version:

Additionally, the values next to these labels are missing in the English version, even though they appear correctly in Greek.
I expect that when paying for a professional automatic translation tool, it should be able to detect and translate all visible product data – especially key information that directly affects sales.
Please advise on:
1. Why these fields were not translated or synchronized properly.
2. How I can ensure all product metadata, attributes, and custom fields are correctly translated and displayed.
3. Whether this is a configuration issue or a known bug with WooCommerce integration.
This issue is affecting multiple products on the site and directly impacts the user experience and our credibility.
I'll be assisting you with the label issue, as it's best to handle one topic at a time.
The fields were initially created and translated at that point. However, since the ACF field preferences were configured later, those updates weren’t reflected in the original translations. You'll need to update both the original products and their translations.
Additionally, your default language is set to Greek, but the product content is in English. WPML's automatic translation everything only works from the default language to secondary languages. This means that even after updating the original, they won’t be automatically applied in this case. You’ll need to resend the products for translation.
You can do this by going to WPML → Translation Management, where you can either bulk-select products for automatic translation or update them individually. WPML uses translation memory, so you'll only be charged for content that hasn't been translated before.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions.
Thanks
